Tom Yum Soup is a famous Thai hot and sour soup. It is transliterated in English as Tom yam. Tom means soup and yam means hot and sour. The most common cooking method is tom yam kung (tom yam kung, traditional Chinese transliteration for tom yam kung) made with shrimp and straw mushrooms. In addition, there are hot and sour chicken soup (tom yam kai), hot and sour seafood soup (tom yam talay) and so on. Coconut juice is called hot and sour soup (tom yam num khon)
